A quick little tool to design foldable boxes
A quick side-project without much thought about making it pretty or usable by other people.
I needed a way to design little boxes to store my Frostgrave miniatures in, so I made a little tool in Unity that allowed me to parametrically define all the sizes and thicknesses of a foldable box. I added some data for how it would fold and sliders to preview the effect.
Then it would export the result as an SVG and I could cut it out of thick paper using a Cricut. (The cardboard box from breakfast serials also worked reasonably well)
